Beginning of Creature Concept

With 2nd year coming to a close, the last assignment is to develop a creature concept and place them in a final render piece. Hearing that this will be our last unit to end 2nd year, it made me very excited to finally do some creature designs and use all what I learned throughout the year. From what I learned from last year's course with character design, I was too ambitious and got lost on what to create. I based it on a character that I made on a whim and lacked the necessary information. So in the end, I wasn't able to finish the character in the standard I envisioned. However, learning from that mistake. I want to see how much I have improved and hopefully produce a piece that I can finally be proud off.
